Payment & Booking Policies:
Payment in full is due at the time of service. We accept cash, personal & bank checks, all major credit cards, ApplePay, Android Pay, and The Wax Room gift cards. We do NOT accept Venmo, CashApp, Paypal, or SpaFinder gift cards. Please make checks payable to The Wax Room LLC. If, for any reason, payment is not able to be made in full at time of service a 50% fee will be added to the service cost sent via email invoice. Failure to pay invoice in full within 12 hours of issuance results in the cancellation of all future appointments and requires invoice payment and pre-payment to rebook.  

Cancellations & No-Shows
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. We allow 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Notice given less than 24 hours results in a Cancellation Fee equal to 75% of the booked services charged to the credit card on file. All No-Shows result in 100% of the booked services charged to the credit card on file. (A No-Show is defined as not arriving for your appointment even if you cancel it AFTER the appointment time.) No exceptions.

Late Arrivals
If you are running late for your appointment please let us know. If you arrive 10 minutes late for your appointment, you will incur a Late Fee of $15 which will be added to your service cost. Any arrivals after the 10-minute window are unable to be accommodated and will be charged the Cancellation Fee.

Declined Credit Cards
Declined credit cards incur an additional 10% fee added to the service cost sent via email invoice. Failure to pay invoice in full within 12 hours of issuance results in the cancellation of all future appointments and requires invoice payment and pre-payment to rebook.  

Repeat Cancellations/Reschedules
Repeat cancellations and/or reschedules in a row (2 or more) require pre-payment to book or keep an existing appointment. If pre-payment is not received, any future appointments already booked will be cancelled.

COVID Cancellation Policy
If you need to change an appointment due to testing positive, being exposed, and/or having COVID-like symptoms, the Cancellation Fee still applies to changes made under 24 hours. The credit card on file will be charged the amount at time of cancellation. The fee may be credited to a future appointment if booked within 30 days from the original appointment.

Inclement Weather Policy
Any schedule changes will be posted on social media. Clients with appointments that will be affected will be directly contacted to reschedule. Cancellations under 24 hours are still subject to the Cancellation Policy, but in the case of weather-related changes the fee may be credited to a future appointment if booked within 30 days from the original appointment.

You can also purchase a physical gift card at The Wax Room. Gift cards may be redeemed for products and services and can also be combined with discounts. Gift cards must be present at time of usage and do not expire. They cannot be redeemed for cash, and lost or stolen Gift Cards cannot be redeemed or replaced.

Product Return/Exchange Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with your product, please contact The Wax Room within 14 days of purchase. You will be issued an even exchange or a refund.

Returned Checks
In the event of a returned check, a $25 fee will be charged in addition to the original amount. Amount due must be paid in the form of a bank check or cash.
